It's only a few weeks away now. I am feeling a bit of a nesting instinct to get everything organized before the surgery. I want to make sure my place is cleaned and organized.

 Master Anakin bought me a few things for it. I got a nice new large nightgown. He even got a book from Chapters about Hysterectomy so I could understand it a bit better. He's been very supportive and wonderful. I am so glad He is there for me. I don't know what I would do without Him. He is my strong force. :)

TGIF! Date night tonight!

TGIF!! It's finally Friday! Yah! Tonight is also date night with Master Anakin! I'm excited because we haven't had one in a while! We are hoping to go see the movie Jobs which looks great! We both knew that we really wanted to see this movie. Master Anakin read the books about Steve Jobs. It looks great! I'm also hoping that we can play and have some fun!

I'd love to have a distraction from my upcoming surgery. It's been on my mind a lot the last few days since I got my surgery date in September. Movie and play time with Master Anakin!

We were lucky this weekend and got a date night! We had some Friday night fun!  It was a pretty fun night. It was really nice to escape our troubles for a while. A extra long weekend with Master Anakin!

TGIF! Let the long weekend begin!

The strong force

There has been a strong force between Master Anakin and I lately. We have faced many challenges this year. We have been very strong in our relationship. We've had some really good talks about the future. Anakin is my rock and strong force. He leads in our relationship. He is the HOH (Head of Household) in our home. A TPE relationship works very well for us. I follow His lead and He is always in control. Anakin is one of the strongest men that I know. I really love being His slave. It makes me very happy. :)

Hanging in there

I'm hanging in there. It's been a really rough time lately. I'm still dealing with losing my FIL. I'm dealing with some health issues too. I spent the day in the ER yesterday. I was in pretty bad shape. I was in a lot of pain. Having fibroids is awful. :(  I am on a waiting list to see the specialist and get a hysterectomy. I haven't felt very good this week. I haven't been online very much.

Master has been very supportive and amazing! I'm so lucky to have Master Anakin. I don't know what I would do without Him. I have been missing Him a lot. He is off work tomorrow though! So it's a long weekend coming up! I can't wait to spend some time with Him. Hopefully we can play on the darkside!  :P

Our force is strong!

Anakin and I have been together for almost 17 years. That's a very long time. We've seen lots of couples break up and not make it.  Master Anakin and I have been through a lot. We've had some really hard struggles in our relationship. The last few weeks have been stressful. There was lots to do for my FIL's memorial. It's been a very difficult month for us. It's still hard to believe that my FIL (father-in-law) is really gone. :(  We had a very nice memorial for him. Anakin spent a long time working on the memorial video for that. My FIL would have been very proud. We are going to miss him a lot.

 I've had some health issues too. I went for an ultrasound last week. It showed that I have some fibroids. One of them is quite large. It's caused me to have heavy periods and that makes me very anemic. My last period lasted for 2 weeks!! I got my period on the weekend and it has taken a lot out of me. I feel very fatigued and drained from it. Fibroids are making my life hell!

It's been recommended that I have a hysterectomy. That's a very scary thought. Anakin assured me that He would be there for me. I wouldn't have to go through it alone. Our force is strong! I feel like we can get through anything together.

I really miss playing on the darkside with Master. It's been a while since we really played hard. I would love to have that kind of escape and leave our worries behind for a while. I could really use a hard spanking! :P

A very busy slave

I've been a very busy slave the last few days. We have been packing up my FIL's belongings and moving furniture from his place. Yesterday was our "moving day" and an extremely busy day. Saturday was date night for us. It felt great to spend some alone time with Master. We watched Zero Dark Thirty which was a pretty good movie. We also had a lot of play time! Date night tonight!

I thought I would write a quick update on our blog. I have kind of missed blogging lately. It has been a very difficult and overwhelming time for Anakin and I.  Anakin had last week off work and we were both dealing with a lot of serious issues.  There was a big family meeting about my FIL who is dealing with a lot of serious health issues.  He's in very bad health and there have been many worries about him.

We have been going back and forth to the hospital almost daily to visit him. We have both felt emotionally drained over it all. Our kids have also been home on Spring Break this week. They are off school next week too. So we divide our time between our kids and trying to have a normal type of life in the midst of visiting my FIL who is not doing very well. We take it day by day with it all.

We have not had very much fun lately. It's been over 2 weeks since we last played. I haven't been spanked. There hasn't even been much of a sex life lately. It's been really hard to get into the mood for that.  We have been able to get a date night tonight. We are both hoping to go to the movies to take a break and get our minds off things for a while.

A romantic and relaxing getaway

Master Anakin surprised me yesterday by taking me away to a hotel for the night. We got a date night last night. I wasn't sure what He had planned for me. He told me to pack our overnight bag because we were getting away for the night. We stayed at the Pacific Inn in White Rock. It's the same hotel that we had our wedding night at. We love it there! TGIF! It's finally Friday! It's also date night for Master and I! yah! We haven't had a date night in weeks. We both really need a break. The situation with His Dad has been really stressful. He is still in ICU and not doing very well. We both need to take a break and have some time together. Life changes

There have been a lot of life changes this year. So much is changing and there is lots to adjust to. We thought that my FIL was getting released from the hospital but he wasn't. It's been a very difficult situation. It's been a stressful time for our whole family.

The hospital is a very depressing place to visit. It brings back some really bad memories too. The hospice is right beside it which is where Anakin's mom passed away. It's not a very happy place to visit. My FIL looked very sad and quiet yesterday. I wish that we could do more for him. Cancer sucks!

My FIL is going to need a lot of help and support. My SIL wants to put him into a senior's home. My FIL wants to go back home though. This has caused a lot of family drama lately. It's also brought up some really big talks. Anakin asked me about his Dad moving in with us. We would get a big house and share it with his Dad and take care of him. This is obviously a very big decision!! It would change our lives in many different ways. I'm not sure what is going to happen.

There is a lot of family drama going on with my family too lately. I've really needed a break. Master and I got the chance to play and connect on Friday. He stayed home from work and we spent some time together on the darkside. It's what we both needed. It felt great to go into subspace for a while and forget our stress and family drama.

There is some really big stuff going on in our family. The teen is graduating in a few months and still trying to figure out her future. I'm really worried about her. I've had some really serious health issues going on. That's also stressed me out. Life is moving so quickly. It's hard to accept all the changes that are happening in my life. It's even strange to me that my son is turning 12 years old next month! He's about to be a teenager! The years go by so quickly. Hold onto those little moments while you can. I feel like I have a much deeper appreciation for life now that I'm 40 years old.

I've done a lot of changing lately. I don't even see the same person in the mirror anymore. I've lost 14 pounds and my body shape has even changed. Anakin's been changing a lot too. I am so proud of us for changing our lives and getting healthy. We have grown closer and fallen in love with each other all over again! I truly love my Husband and Master. He is my strong force. I know that we will get through whatever challenges are ahead for us. We are a strong couple. I love Anakin so very much. I know that I can get through anything with Him by my side.
